Fire orange sunsets, with campfires, lobster bakes, and toasted marshmallows to follow, are the perfect way to end a summer day at this adventurous cottage. Down by the shore is the ideal spot to launch a kayak- paddle out and explore the islands and the shoreline of the Bagaduce River. Take a trip upstream to the reversing falls and eat at the Bagaduce Lunch. Paddle to the historic waterfront of Castine.
Our cabin was built in 2013 for comfort and family relaxation. We have named it “The Captain's Cottage” in honor of our son, who attended the Maine Maritime Academy. The cottage has a quaint New England feel. Escape the noise and bustle of the city and feel time slow down on the shore. Enjoy every second of the beautiful landscape and the comfort of this home.
