A woodsy, mid-century home in Shokan with four common areas (living room, sitting room, sun room, movie/game room) and outdoor space to ensure everyone has a relaxing time. Whether you're working from home, planning ski/hiking trips (2-min drive to Ashokan Rail Trail), heading into Woodstock (15 min), or just hanging out by the fire and playing board games, there's no shortage of options for everyone.
This is our home away from home and we hope you can feel our love for the space. The house has a fully-equipped kitchen, renovated baths, spacious dining room with adjoining sitting room, living room with fireplace, and a basement recreation and media room (including ten foot movie screen). The large deck is perfect to enjoy the outdoor space and the sunroom is a great space for yoga or meditation. Upstairs are three bedrooms, with one king and two queen beds, and a full bathroom.
Feel free to enjoy our home as if it were your own! All we ask is that you also respect as if it were your own. This is our vacation home, not a hotel, so please have appropriate expectations. Some areas may be a little 'lived in' — largely thanks to our toddler — and we do get some bugs out in the woods. Please do not leave trash or food outdoors as it may attract wildlife.
