Summary: If you’re planning on visiting the Royal Mile or surrounding area don’t book here. It’s too far from anything. Taxi will be £14 at least. There’s a restaurant in the hotel, which was good, but that’s your only option. The beds were comfy. Our room heater didn’t work so they brought us a portable heater that took the chill off. The shower was nice and hot but the tub was really tall. If you have any mobility issues it’s hard to get in and out. And it’s slippery. Front desk staff tried very hard to make us happy. We wouldn’t stay there again because of the location.
