A 3 bedroom house on 1.3 hectare property with garden, swimming pool (unheated), tree house, and animals to pet: chickens, dog, cat, and sheep. While attached to the owners residence, it is completely self contained and private.
Poripori Homestead is located at the base of the Kaimais within 15-20 minutes from Tauranga CBD and 20-30 minutes from Mt Maunganui and Papamoa beaches. The nearest supermarket (Countdown) is 12-15 minutes away in Greerton.
In the other direction McLaren's Falls and Park is a 5 minute drive. There are several bush walks in the Kaimai ranges and Hobbiton, the set for Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit and the TECT all terrain adventure park are both less than a 40 minute drive.
Other local activities include cycling, rafting, kayaking, fishing - fresh or salt water, hunting, shopping, dining.
The use of a large shed for storage of a boat is available - please ask for availability (7mLx2.5mWx2.8mH).
Access
Rotorua and Hamilton International Airports are 1 and 1.5 hours away. Auckland is 2.5 hours away by various routes - some more scenic than others.

Beaches - surfing, walking, swimming, snorkling and diving. Visit one of the many Mount cafe’s.
Rock climbing, blokarts and hot pools, paint ball - the list goes on.
Canoeing and glow worm tours.
Wairoa river Grade 5 rafting/kayaking (2 mins from house) over the summer.
Winter
Beaches - surfing, walking and collect shells around the Mount. Visit one of the many Mount cafe’s.
Bush walks in the Kaimais and McLarens Falls Park.
Rock climbing, blokarts and hot pools.
Shopping: Mount, Bayfair, Fashion Island and Tauranga City.
Plenty of places to eat out.
