We look forward to hosting you in our private guest accommodation, which is situated at the end of a quiet, country road on the edge of Warkworth.
Pine Holt Cottage is a self-contained, two storey, stand-alone property in a rural setting. We are up on a hill, with countryside views in all directions.
The cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway for two, or as a peaceful escape for small groups of families and friends.
We are located close to Woodhouse Mountain Lodge, Warkworth township, Matakana village and the Matakana Coast. We can happily share local tourist information with you before you arrive. There is also local information available in the cottage for you to read during your stay to help you further plan your time away.
Pine Holt Cottage can accommodate up to 5 guests. There are 3 bedrooms (two with queen-sized beds and one with a single bed) and 1 family bathroom.
Outside the cottage, there is an outdoor entertaining area with a hot tub/spa pool, patio furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue.
The downstairs indoor areas include the living/TV room, a queen-sized bedroom, a single bedroom, and a bathroom with a laundry space.
There is a washing machine/tumble dryer, a clothes drying rack, and an iron with an ironing board in the laundry cupboard.
The upstairs living areas include a fully equipped kitchen/dining area with more relaxed seating, plus a queen-sized bedroom with a built-in wardrobe.
There is plenty of space on our property to relax, roam and picnic.
You will be renting the entire guest cottage, with your own parking right outside, so you can enjoy peace and privacy.
There is a key lock box available to enable an easy check-in/checkout process for you.
Your hosts also live nearby. We can make ourselves available, should you have any queries or need any help. We will ensure you have all our contact details.

We have a few sheep on the property.
The cottage living accommodation is spread across two levels. There is an interior staircase.
The kitchen/dining room and one of the queen bedrooms is situated upstairs.
The living/TV room, two more of the bedrooms and the bathroom/laundry space are located downstairs.
There are four wide outside steps with a handrail to access the cottage and the patio/outdoor entertaining space from the parking area.
The bathroom offers a toilet, shower and hand basin, but there is not an indoor bath available.
Bed linen and towels are provided for your use at the cottage and in the hot tub.
Local information:
There are several EV charging and petrol/gas stations, plus three supermarkets (Pak n Save, Woolworth and New World) within Warkworth township.
There are plenty of smaller shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in the centre of Warkworth. There is lovely boardwalk along the Mahurangi river towards Lucy Moore park.
There are some other larger, well-known stores, such as Mitre 10, The Warehouse, Hunting and Fishing, Chemist Warehouse, Repco and SuperCheap Auto located within the Kowhai Falls development on Woodcocks Road in Warkworth.
There are tourist information centres located in both Warkworth and Matakana.
