Summary: The Dragonfly cottage is a much-loved, very clean house with plenty of space and walking distance to the Bass Harbor lighthouse, Ship Harbor and Wonderland (1 mile). Very short drive to several excellent lobster stands on the harbor. Although the outside temp reached 90 during several days of our stay we were still able to sleep comfortably each night in the upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs bedrooms never felt damp even though they remained cool. The front yard had plenty of room for wiffle ball, and the house was equipped for anything you might need during your stay, perhaps more equipped than most other houses we have stayed in previously. Very quiet, no sounds from the campground or street traffic, even with windows open. We felt so welcome in this home that we almost felt like we were staying at a B&B and would definitely rent again.
