Just a few minutes’ walk away is the thatched-roof Sønderby Kro inn, with a village pond, a large boules court and a small playground with swings. In the nearby Ostwald, which you can also see from the house, the path ends at Skovbroen, a historic ferry crossing to the island of Eskildsø.
