Liberty Lake Cottage provides everything for lakeside fun. On the 1,000 acre Lake St. George you can listen to the Loons calling, watch the sun set while enjoying a campfire roasting marshmallows in the warm evening breeze. Explore camp roads for strolling and nearby community fare. Local restaurants, brew pubs and homemade ice cream are just minutes away. And don't forget to pop into the world renowned "Liberty Tool" which has something for everyone! If this isn't enough to peak your interest, a short 20 to 40 minute trip will take you to the Midcoast Region to a number of coastal towns such as Belfast, Lincolnville, Camden, Rockport and Rockland for some fabulous shopping and sightseeing. Camden is known for Windjammer days (tall masted ships), Mount Batti State Park and seaside shopping. Rockland has the Lobster Festival and Jazz Festival and wonderful shopping. Don't forget to walk the jetty. Unity is just a short trip to the M.O.F.G.A. Common Ground Fair in Sept. It's a quick 1.5 hour trip to Bar Harbor to climb Mt. Cadillac or visit the home of the Rockefeller's.
The cottage is located in a small secluded area of the lake where you enjoy your own private dock for kayaking and swimming or just soaking up the sun. There is a picnic table, fire pit and gas grill for cooking (there is NO STOVE in the cottage). There is an Apt. size refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, toaster, microwave and blender. Fully stocked kitchen includes, flatware, dishes, glasses and cooking utensils. There is a living room area, a double bed area, a dining area all encompassed in one large room and a 3/4 bath which includes a walk in shower.
