Mount Hood is less than half an hour away and offers world-class downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snow tubing, and thrilling downhill mountain biking in the Summer. Beautiful alpine hiking and biking trails are everywhere. Grocery stores and restaurants can be found just down the street in Brightwood and in Welches down Hwy 26. If you don't feel like driving to the mountain there is a ski bus stop in Brightwood, just minutes away.
