This beautiful, private northern Maine contemporary log-cabin compound sits above the banks of the Aroostook River in Masardis, Maine - Two hours north of Bangor, ME.
The 20-acre property is one mile off Route 11.
All-wheel drive is highly recommended in the winter!
We offer clean, quiet, private accommodations for a true Maine woods experience. We are uniquely situated and appointed to offer hunters, snowmobilers, nature and wildlife enthusiasts rustic, deep woods experience with modern amenities.
We offer free wi-fi but being deep in the woods, there are rare occasions of weak connections, and of having to power up the generator.
We're called Moose Island because of the unique 'island' in the river just below our property where Moose rest as they cross.
This beautiful setting boasts 3 unique whole-log log cabins that were hand-crafted with care. You will notice intricate post and beam detail made from our property's own trees.
There is a large beautiful central fire pit with plenty of seating to gather around.
SNOWMOBILERS: We are conveniently connected to the I-85 Northern Maine Snowmobile Trail Networks.
EACH CABIN offers the same amenities: heat, kitchenette, private bathroom and shower, towels, linens, blankets, pillows, refrigerator, microwave, eating utensils, plates, cups, free wi-fi, and a private porch with water views.
