You will also see the erratic boulder Lommesten and the castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch seafood, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions. Hovvig Nature Reserve, a renaturalized wetland, is home to a rich bird life. There are 3 signposted hiking trails in the area. Your children will also be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum. Nearby, visit Sommerland Sjælland, galleries that are also typical of Odsherreds and Dragsholm Castle from the 12th century.
