Immerse yourself in the serenity and natural beauty of Highland Lake, and make memories that last a lifetime. Welcome to our waterfront cottage on a quiet lake away from the tourists and traffic. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea with panoramic lake views. Later in the day watch the sun set from our westward facing view as the family shares a meal in the dining room or on the deck. The cottage is a perfect blend of old and new, with rustic exposed beams and a modern kitchen. It offers plenty of space and beds for up to 10 guests to enjoy. There are 4 queen beds and a twin bunk bed. There are 2 1/2 bathrooms, one on each floor, so there shouldn't be much of a wait. The kitchen is well equipped for summer cooking. A central island with seating provides a spot for small meals and snacks, as well as a place for congregating family members. There is ample outdoor furniture on the deck. A propane grill is available as well. The walk out basement includes an entertainment area with large screen smart enabled TV, as well as full bathroom, queen bed, and bunk beds. A desk is provided in the basement for remote work. High speed Wi-Fi internet is available on site as well. You'll never be more than a few steps away from your favorite lakeside activities.
Enjoy a glass of wine on the dock or make s'mores at the fire pit. Limited public boat access keep feeling overcrowded even during the high summer weeks.

Our cottage is conveniently located only 12 minutes from I-95 and 20 minutes from Portland, where a foodie's paradise awaits if you want to dine out. The Sebago lakes are only a short drive away. A day on the ocean at Old Orchard beach is a 30 minute drive, and a visit to the Cape Elizabeth lighthouse will take about 40 minutes.
There are also plenty of rainy day options close by, including the Portland Children's Museum. The outlets at Freeport, including LL Bean, are only 30 minutes away. Don't forget our wide selection of board games at the cottage if a rainy day should hit.
This is a four season cottage with heat and back-up propane generator. We are located only 1 hour from skiing at Shawnee Peak, now known as Pleasant Mountain.
