Positive: A Total Gem in Ubud! I absolutely loved my stay at Santru Villa in Petulu! As a solo backpacker, I was looking for a spot that was quiet and relaxing but still had good vibes, and this place was perfect. The villa itself is stunning, super clean, and feels like a little slice of paradise. My room was so comfy and beautifully decorated. It was such a treat to have a private space that felt so luxurious. The staff are the real stars here. They are so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful with everything from booking a scooter to suggesting great local spots to eat. The location in Petulu is brilliant; it's tucked away from the Ubud crowds, but still close enough to easily get to the centre and all the main sights. I felt totally safe and at home here. If you're a backpacker looking for a little splurge on comfort and peace, this is definitely the place to go!
