Today, the square du Temple is an English landscaped garden embellished with numerous exotic trees (American honey locust, golden rain tree, Ginkgo Biloba) and some remarkable specimens (including an 18-meter tall Turkish hazel, and a 17-meter tall Japanese pagoda tree). The wildlife in this large garden has never been so vibrant. Many different species of birds come to refresh themselves near the ornamental pool and waterfall made using rocks from the forest of Fontainebleau.
