Summary:
The Commercial Hotel is one of the oldest buildings in historic Millthorpe. It has been welcoming guests – from Cobb & Co coaches to local farmers - since 1877. The bar and restaurant opened early in 2021. We’ve restored all seven rooms true to their Victorian beginnings with plenty of modern comforts.

The Commercial takes bookings for single rooms (SCROLL DOWN THE SEARCH RESULTS TO SEE OUR OTHER ROOMS), or if you’re travelling with a large group you can book the lot.

The Space:
The owners have spent a huge amount of time in regional accommodation and know a great night’s sleep is essential when you’re away from home. We make it happen with custom-made beds, great pillows and blockout curtains.

The Neighborhood:
Millthorpe village has niche retail, a hatted restaurant and a couple of very elegant cellar doors. Numerous wineries are within a half-hour drive.

Other Things to Note:
Part of the Victorian pub experience is separate ladies’ and unisex shared bathrooms, 4 showers and 3 toilets in total. We supply robes and slippers to make it as pleasant as possible.

□ Rooms 1, 2 and 3 face onto Park Street, have one queen bed and a small writing desk.

□ Room 4 has a queen bed and bedside table.

□ Rooms 5 and 6 have twin beds and bedside table.

□ Room 7 has a queen bed and, we’ll be honest, it’s small (but that’s reflected in the price!).

All rooms have custom-made AH Beard beds, a choice of soft & firm pillows, tea & coffee, a little fridge, two robes & slippers and privacy blinds on the windows.
