Tucked into a garden-and-woodland setting on the banks of the Mousam River, this home has its own swimming dock, two kayaks and a canoe for your use, and a private hot tub to enjoy each evening.
This riverfront home sits on three quiet acres overlooking a serene cove of the Mousam River. Set out for three miles of gorgeous kayaking straight from the house (with paddles and lifejackets also provided) or stroll about a thousand feet to the tennis courts at the neighborhood school. You'll be only a mile from downtown Kennebunk's cute restaurants and four miles from the beach - with beach visitor parking passes on hand for you.
The experience here is as classic Maine as it comes. Ride your bikes home from the beach in the afternoons, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and gather for barbecue dinners on the large deck overlooking the river. Slip into the hot tub in the evenings or tell stories and roast marshmallows by one of two firepits - one at the house and one down by the river.
Thanks to generous windows, the same beautiful view of the river cove is on display throughout the house. The main floor is bright and welcoming, offering a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a formal dining room, a living room with a smart TV, and an additional den with a TV that can double as a home office or a workout room. All of the bedrooms are upstairs, including a primary bedroom with its own TV and desk as well.
THINGS TO KNOW
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
