Summary: Very cute and cozy cottage in a fabulous location. The national park is less than 15 minute drive away.The Bar Harbor lobster pound is five minutes away and we ate there twice! Just at the end of the road, 10 minute walk down the hill, is a beautiful beach, Hadley point, where you can collect mussels and bring them home and cook them! Which I did and it was a very fun experience. Plus the sunset there is spectacular. The cabin itself is clean and had everything we needed. Wi-Fi and TVs worked well. It does have some little quirks. The water pressure in the kitchen sink is basically a dribble, which was weird because the dishwasher and other fixtures were normal. As someone else pointed out, the whole downstairs is not connected to the upstairs- in order to get to the downstairs you have to go outside and around and back in the back door. So we basically stayed in the upstairs the whole time. This was a shame because the downstairs, once we ventured there, is very modern and full of wonderful things- big TV, couches games, laundry. it is basically a wasted level unless you make it a point to go down there. Communication with the hosts was good.
