Enjoy our beautiful, tastefully decorated Oceanfront 3 bedroom home (BBKM 2019/0003), accommodating up to 6 adults and 2 additional children. Kihei is the sunniest part of Maui and you'll enjoy magnificent ocean views, swimming in either the ocean or our pool, paddle boarding, kayaking or fishing right off our property or just relaxing in the hammock under the palm trees.
Hale Laule'a is a beautiful single story home, with lush landscaping and an open floor plan which enjoys natural cooling trade winds and seamless indoor/outdoor living, situated only 25 feet from the ocean and 200 ft in from Halama Street. Private steps lead down to our almost private beach where you can swim, snorkel, paddleboard, kayak or surf. The Kitchen, dining area, kitchen and master bedroom directly face the ocean with floor to ceiling tinted glass plus sun shades. Outside on the ocean facing lanai you can enjoy outdoor ocean front dining using our built in Twin Eagles propane grill and the small refreshments fridge as well as meals at the large outdoor table watching the sun setting every night at dinner. You won't find a better view!
A central air system and split system air conditioning in all the bedrooms, powered by solar roof panels, keeps the house cool even on the hottest days. The kitchen is large, has been beautifully remodeled with handmade mango wood cabinets, a large Subzero Fridge, a Wolf 4 burner gas stove, a Wolf convection microwave and a Bosch Super-Quiet Dishwasher.
The lovely swimming pool sits behind the living room, protected from afternoon trade winds and is connected to an in-ground iridescent glass-tiled jacuzzi. The Living Room has direct ocean views, a 46' Samsung Flat-screen tv, plus hi speed Wi-Fi. The pool side entertainment room boasts an 80 inch Flat-screen tv and a Leather 3 person recliner & ottoman.
2 walls of the Master bedroom are floor to ceiling, ocean-facing windows, making you feel as though you're on top of the water. Let the sound of the ocean lull you to sleep. The master bathroom has dual Kohler sinks with high end fixtures, an indoor custom glassed in rain shower as well as a large, private outdoor hot and cold water shower. Each of the other two bedrooms enjoy their own en-suite bathrooms with indoor showers.
In addition, you can rinse off from the ocean in our outdoor private garden hot & cold water shower and use an additional bathroom near the pool for those who might be wet or sandy.
Our Halama Street location is incredibly private, but also central and within easy walking distance to restaurants, public tennis courts, surfing lessons, beautiful public beaches and snorkeling spots, basketball courts, movie theaters, a farmers' market and supermarkets. Within a few minutes' drive you can also find numerous golf courses, scenic hikes, shopping and world-class kite and wind surfing areas. The resort area of Wailea is only 10 minutes drive and the spectacular Maui Ocean Center is about 20. We are 20-25 minutes drive from the airport and have ample parking inside our gated driveway.
Ours is a tranquil, private and incredibly gorgeous setting. It is also a residential neighborhood so, while the location may seem ideal for weddings and/or big gatherings, these will not be allowed.
We also provide beach umbrellas, chairs, coolers and boogie boards for your beach outings, tennis or pickleball supplies should you wish to play at the courts down the street, surfboards as well as any fresh fruit from our garden and we are happy to help make your vacation outstanding in any way we can.
