Positive: The architecture of the hotel was splendid and the location

Negative: I called in the day of my booking asking details about any charges for pets, the lady at the phone told me that there isn't any as we have a cat, not a dog. Arrived at the hotel, 5 months later and they told me that I have to pay £10 per night because of our cat, which we paid without any other discussion. We checked in and figured it out that the bathroom floor was full of hair on the corners and the bathroom bin hasn't been emptied, it was full of dirty nappies. The lady from the reception came to empty it. The following 2 days, when they were cleaning, in none of them the bathroom was cleaned properly, we had to go and ask for handsoap, we had to go and ask for toilet paper. At breakfast, in our last day, the chef was dressed more like a painter than a cook, I doubt that any food hygiene rules apply. Overall, this will be a place that probably will never visit and would not recommend.
