Summary: This part of Plum Island is quiet, serene. Being near the end of the road, there is very little traffic. The road the property is on is shared by one other home. As with most of Plum Island, there are always people walking, running, biking when you travel down the main road and they are very friendly. The property is a double lot so there is plenty of parking. It overlooks the Basin so pretty views. At night the sounds of crickets make for a peaceful sleep and during the day, the birds and rabbits are everywhere. There is a “secret beach” you can walk to that makes it possible to go to the beach without driving or biking around to the other side of Plum Island where the main ocean beaches are. The inside of the home has plenty of space. The challenge is the one very small bathroom, but certainly manageable if not too many people. The place is rustic inside and the kitchen very basic. The AC works great so no issues there. The owner, Ray, is super helpful and very responsive as he lives close by and is a very nice guy.
