Summary: The gite was big enough for the 4 of us all adults. The space in the kitchen, dining room and lounge was particularly nice as there was plenty of space for all and you could easily open the doors and windows to allow through flow ventilation to cool the gite down. The two bedrooms upstairs in the loft area where large enough to accommodate 2 adults per room. The beds nice and comfortable too. We had no issues with the low roof line to one side of each bedroom but if you have back issues or cannot bend over easily then this may be an issue for you. There was always hot water for our needs and a washing machine which was good for doing some washing. The pool area was beautiful, and the pool very well kept too, always cleaned each morning if it required cleaning. There is one other accommodation which we shared the pool area with but plenty of space for both groups to enjoy the pool facilities. We hardly saw or met the other groups as we seem to attend the pool at different times therefore the pool was almost as if it was a private pool. Marie-Claire and Gilbert were very accommodating with us, and any issues or request were managed very efficiently and quickly which is always a nice touch. They could hardly speak English and we could hard speak French, but this did not affect our communication levels where we used Google translate effectively to communicate. :-) I would like to take this opportunity to thank Marie-Claire and Gilbert for this hospitality and lovely gite we rented from them.
