This log cabin in the woods is on a gorgeous salt water tidal cove! Enjoy deer, squirrels, birds, eagles, turkeys and more from the deck! How about grilling you dinner on the gas grill and eating in the treetops under the sun? Take a canoe ride to fish or see the views from the water, and warm up at night in front of the wood stove!
The cabin is wonderfully secluded--many locals don't know it is here, with no neighbors but deer and the occasional eagle flying overhead.
The Space:
There is a canoe and life preservers provided. Use the wheeled trolley to help you with the canoe up and down the path if you would like! The path is on the property, and is about a 2 minute walk to the water in the woods on a rustic path. It is a tidal cove, so check the tide charts for tides.

It is a short drive to local lobster merchants, wonderful hiking and swimming in pristine lakes. Feel free to take our canoe out for a paddle in the cove, or head out at low tide so that you can do some clamming in the front of the property. At the end of the day, take a moment to sit by the wood burning stove. It is a great place to explore the limitless relaxation and recreational opportunities of Downeast and Acadia. about a 18 mile drive to Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park.
