It is decorated and furnished to a very good standard and is ideal for families, friends, walkers and birdwatchers alike. With a wood burner in the living room, plus central heating, it makes an ideal all year round holiday destination. The cottage has its own garden and playroom with pool table and enjoys fabulous views across the Otter Valley. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the farm, picnic in the fields, and study the varied flora of the designated Devon Wildlife Trust area. The market town of Honiton is within 4 miles and is well known for its many antique shops. Exeter is a 30-minute drive away. The Jurassic Coast is also within a short drive, taking in Beer, Branscombe and Sidmouth. Enjoy fine countryside and walks right from the doorstep, follow the coastal path, or explore the wilds of Dartmoor and Exmoor. Several historic houses, castles and gardens nearby, including some fine National Trust properties such as Killerton House and Knightshayes Court. Plenty of attractions for children of all ages including wildlife and adventure parks, steam railways, golf, riding and sailing nearby. Beach 12 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
