Positive: Beautiful house, lovely gardens, very well located within Melrose

Negative: Checkout was too early (9:30am), and check-in was too late (5pm). I'm sure the managers will say that this amount of time is necessary to clean such a large house; but to that I would say that you could employ an extra cleaner to get the job done faster, and make the check in/out times more reasonable. Every other hotel, apartment, B+B and guesthouse seems to manage it!
