Positive: Is a small cozy costal house that has been slightly renovated not long ago. It's greatly situated only 5 minutes walk from the beach and it has a bakery, small supermarket and a butcher only a few steps away. The house can accommodate 6 guests, though we were only 4. It has all the needed appliances for long stays and kitchenware for at least 3 meals without washing dishes and instead loading a full dishwasher. It has equipment in a closet for a small child (between 0 and 3 years of age). The shower and toilet are separate and the dinner table can be extended to accommodate 6 people easily. The heating is done mainly by radiators installed on the walls, placed in each room, that can keep a mora than comfortable temperature all day long. The Utah Beach memorial is just 15 minutes away by car and you have two gas stations just 5 minutes away by car. The little ville, Quineville, is just wonderful, a small french town with intense green fields all around it, and a beautiful beach that spans across several small villes that you can spend you're whole afternoon walking through. Outside the house you have a small grill and a table that sits four people. The beds are very comfy and since the hot water is not provided by a boiler tank, you don't have to be worried about running out of hot water when you're 5 or 6 people. The hostess, even though we didn't meet with her in person, was reactive to our questions through the internal chat service provided by Booking. The explanations to access the house were clear, and the parking in front of the house can easily accommodate two medium cars. The internet connection is top notch, so if you intend to telework, the connection will certainly meet your requirements.

Negative: Since the house is old, it doesn't have a good passive ventilation system, so the house remains humid while occupied. In our case, this translated into condensation gathering in the windows and dripping to the floor, which left some of the kitchen and bedroom floors slightly wet all throughout our stay. Similar problem happened with the dust, specially in the bedrooms, so if you're allergic, I would recommend avoiding this house during the periods where you can't open the windows, like winter. The condensation also happened in the tiled walls of the first floor toilet. The kitchen didn't have an extractor, so if you intend to cook something that produces smoke or strong smell, I advice you not to, or you'll smell it for the rest of your stay. The hostess told us that she had already bought an extractor, but it was meant to be installed after our stay. There's a door window in the kitchen, but it cannot be opened, as stated by the hostess, because it opens to the next door's house. There's no curtains in the house, only the metallic blinds that are on the outside, so is either lowering those, and remain in a someone dark room or keep them open and let everyone see what you're doing. The shower is only accesible through the master bedroom, and the toilet is not in the same floor as the shower. The toilet has a leak on the pipe that connected the water reservoir, which kept the floor humid.
