A wonderful, modern apartment with a Wimbledon postcode, walkable to Southfields village where you can enjoy the café culture on offer or catch the tube into Central London. With protected heathlands and green spaces on your doorstep, outdoor activities are plentiful. The apartment is flooded with natural light, and features two double bedrooms, family bathroom, kitchen and living room. It is absolutely perfect for two couples looking for a stylish place in a peaceful location in London! The Space: This bright, spacious two bedroom apartment is on the first floor of a modern building with gas central heating for extra comfort. Access to the building is secure and there is a lift or staircase leading up to all floors. There is a reception hallway, separate living/dining room, a kitchen and two double bedrooms. This property is currently on the market, and occasionally, I might show people around for viewings. I will always let you know, and this should not impact your stay! Please Note: The TV has no channels but a HDMI cable is provided to connect to your own device. LIVING AREA / KITCHEN / DINING AREA The separate fully fitted kitchen is a great size and has been modernised with contemporary units and granite worktops. There is a built-in oven, gas hob and extractor, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The big window lets in plenty of light – stand at the sink and look out onto the lovely gardens and trees! The kitchen cupboards have all the crockery, cutlery and utensils you should need. The living room has a lovely big squashy and comfy leather sofa and a coffee table and side board for your everyday items. There is a huge TV screen with an HDMI cable to attach your own device. A six-seater table and chairs sit to the rear of the room, which is perfect for dining, or working. BEDROOMS The master bedroom has a triple wardrobe with full length mirror and plenty of hanging space, while the second bedroom has divan style storage under the bed plus two chests of drawers – one doubles as a dressing table with mirror above - so there’s plenty of space to put your things. Both bedrooms feature comfortable double beds with bedside tables. All beds will be spotlessly made up using hotel quality linen. BATHROOMS The bathroom is contemporary in style and has a full-length bath with a shower attachment over, toilet and basin and heated towel rail. The basin is set in a vanity unit – perfect to keep your personal items tidied away. Large fluffy white towels and starter toiletries will be provided for every guest. Guest Access: Guests have complete access to the flat. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport...or anything else you might fancy! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Full details will be provided at check-in. Interaction with Guests: When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be. The Neighborhood: The apartment is right by Wimbledon Common and Putney Village and very close to Wimbledon Park – home to the famous Wimbledon tennis tournament. Surrounded by heathland, Putney Village is an exclusive community. It is protected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation. The heathland is celebrated for its large open spaces and clean air. It offers all sorts of outdoor activities, including cycling, walking, running, cricket, tennis, squash and swimming pools. You may wish to enjoy a delicious gastro pub meal at The Telegraph Pub or dine in one of the many eateries on offer in Wimbledon Village. A healthy quality life, yet right on the doorstep to direct tube and bus routes into London town – this really is the best of both worlds. Getting Around: The apartment is conveniently located for the open green spaces of Wimbledon Common and Putney Heath and with the 39 bus stop close by, is just a short bus journey away from Wimbledon and Putney with mainline tube stations in both. You can also walk from the apartment to Southfields village with its selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Here you will also find Southfields underground station (District Line) from where you can be in Central London or The City in just over half an hour.
