Mt detailed discription:: If you are looking for a smart home with all the newest, latest, and greatest technology or a “Smart House”, this may not be the place for you.
Actually, I would describe it as having an 8th or 9th-grade (honor roll) education, with perhaps a GED. But definitely not "Smart". Yes, there is relatively fast Internet and you can connect your devices to the stereo and projector screen, but my refrigerator and furnace are mute.
Some described my house as a combination of “Vintage-BoHo-French-Recycled-Repurposed-Craigslst-Chic”! {Bwahahaha}
So understand, this all is intentional in my quest to avoid it looking like another “Pottery Barm” catalog page. So with that I will say, that some guests find that the rusty antique garden fence used as a banister, or the commercial stove with the pilot lights visible as a call for total renovation, while others claim to want me to help design their homes!
The layout of the house is this..
1st floor: Living room, kitchen with a large table that can easily seat 10, French door leading out to the deck, BBQ grill, small cafe table & chairs, and the garden.
2nd floor: There is a loft-like room with an antique twin bed, A second bedroom with a king-sized bed. The bathroom on this floor is a wet bath, with a rain shower, a bidet, and an unfortunate occasional leak which we have tried numerous times to fix, and will do so as soon as the season is over. I say this so if it does happen, you will know it is nothing you’ve done. But to have it fixed permanently would have meant canceling many of your bookings this season.
3rd floor: To the right is a bright and sunny living room/bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a couch that can sleep 2. Apparently, this room is often used as the “slumber party room”. To the left is the master room with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom (with a curtain as a door) and a big tub with a handheld shower.
So there it all is. And I ask you to think about what you're looking for before you decide to book my place. I’d love to have you but need you to know what to expect, so as to not disappoint.
