Positive: Free parking in zone 2 of Paris and excellent location handy for close by metro (line 7), supermarkets (Lidl’s) and take aways / food. Generous living space with washing machine and good sized fridge freezer which were helpful. Lots of fans provided which is helpful given it was quite warm.

Negative: Car parking is not on site and 2 streets away. There are no lifts and this apartment is on the 3rd floor with old wooden circular stairs so can be hazardous lugging suitcases for a family of 4 all the way up. The toilet and the landing hallway stank of urine all the time - a macerator toilet is installed which keeps regurgitating and requires 3-4 flushes. We had to get a deodouriser which still wouldn’t take the stink away. This made it quite unpleasant. There are very few utensils so you need to get a baking tray or purchase foil if buying any food which needs preparing in the oven and the frying pans have definitely seen better days. One of the chairs on the dining table is broken and again dangerous as are some of the cupboard doors. We weren’t sure which laundry was clean and which wasn’t. The access to the loft is really dangerous and kept hitting my knees - most importantly I wouldn’t trust myself or my family down it half asleep if I needed the toilet! No basic toiletries - luckily supermarket is nearby. Property manager needs to focus on improving the toilet issue and making some basic amenities available. Please highlight the lack of lifts!
