The ground floor comprises a large fully-equipped kitchen, drawing room, sitting room, dining room with seating for all guests, breakfast room, utility room and laundry room. Each has been meticulously designed with entertainment and celebration in mind with plenty of seating, tables, and window seats to enjoy. The property exudes luxury and skilfully combines its distinctive heritage with contemporary interiors to create an enviable, picture-perfect setting that both the younger and more experienced generations can equally enjoy.
The central stairway leads from the ground floor entrance all the way to the upper floor. To the first are six bedrooms, all uniquely decorated, different from one another. Each has its own bath or shower room, or shares with just one other room.
You won't need to leave The Priory grounds thanks to the patio terraced barbecue area, expansive lawned grounds, woods with lake, tennis court, and croquet lawn. Though there is plenty to do, see and explore further afield. There is something for everyone; children, adventurers, historians, nature lovers and foodies. One can walk or cycle to Butley or onto Orford. There are foot ferry rides from the Butley river. Woodbridge is only a short drove away and offers a wealth of fantastic world-renowned restaurants, pubs, cafes, and shops. And the Suffolk Coast is accessible with a wide array of sandy, shingle and mixed beaches, nature reserves, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and tourist attractions.
