The studios are in a great walking location in center of Machias. Stroll to the concerts at Bad Little Falls Park, to wine tastings at the French Cellar, to the ATV trail and hiking trails in Middle River Park, to lunch or dinner at Mason's Brewing Company and Helen's Restaurant.
Only (approximately) a mile from the University of Maine Machias and Downeast Community Hospital.
The Studios at Seventeen are completely remodeled (2024) studio apartments in the center of town. Unit 3 is a bright, second floor studio and comes equipped with a full size bed, sitting and dining area There is a kitchen with upgraded cabinetry and solid surface countertops with a fridge, electric range, microwave, toaster and coffee maker (Keurig-type and French press) and, of course, all the 'wares' -- dinnerware, glassware, cookware, servingware, silverware and bakingware.
The bathroom has a 32" stall shower and 'tiny house' fixtures. Unit 3 is on the second floor and shares a deck with unit 4. There is a Roku smart tv on a swivel mount and heat and central air conditioning.
Neighborhood deer come and visit the property almost every day (and will sometimes eat snacks out of your hands)

Unit doors are self closing steel with deadbolts and hotel security locks - not because our little town is unsafe, but for your piece of mind while staying in unfamiliar surroundings. Units and common areas have smoke/CO2 detectors with sealed 10 year batteries and all units have fire extinguishers and fire blankets.
