Set in Paris's 16th arrondissement, La Muette is an exclusive neighborhood with wonderful views and an exciting cultural scene. The neighborhood is set along the Seine and overlooks the sprawling Bois de Boulogne. The Musée Marmottan Monet displays hundreds of canvases by noted Impressionist painter Claude Monet. Another neighborhood highlight is the Maison de Balzac, an apartment where the noted writer Honore de Balzac lived in the 1840s. It has now been converted into a museum.
