Summary: Staff did respond to some of these issues during the stay, but we did consider cutting our stay short. The mattress springs are extremely noticeable. On the first night, there was a constant fan noise from adjacent room 11pm-10:30am (sound insulation) One of the bathroom hooks fell off the wall in the night. Presumably this has happened before because another one of the hooks is upside down. The bathroom socket cover has fallen off the wall. The sink was missing a plug or strainer, which means items could easily fall down the drain. I think the missing plug is also causing the strange bathroom smell. There was a small blood stain on the wall next to the bathroom door. The shower head holder needs replacing or tightening, as it slowly slips down in angle during the shower and then falls out. The broken off jagged plastic from the former soap dish is still attached to the pole. The electrics were overdue PAT testing. The carpet in the hallway is coming away from the floor, leaving a trip hazard at the top of the stairs.
