This cosy Breton cottage is set in rolling, tranquil countryside. It has been lovingly renovated and refurbished over the last three years and is new to the rental market in 2018. The restoration has been undertaken by French registered artisans using traditional methods and materials and supervised by an English architect. High quality fixtures and fittings have been used throughout, which serve to compliment the original features that have been maintained.
The cottage is south facing and overlooks its own garden within close proximity to its sister property Cider Cottage and the resident English owners. Both cottages may be rented together to accommodate larger family groups. Les Lauriers comfortably sleeps four adults, a young child and a baby in two bedrooms. The original oak and chestnut beams have been retained and give a lovely ambience to the accommodation
Les Lauriers is an ideal location for sampling the numerous delights of a French rural holiday. It is within easy reach of the Normandy and North Brittany coastline. A perfect location to explore both coast and rural sites.

LIVING ROOM
The large living room has two leather sofas and an armchair with footrest. There is English language satellite television with DVD player. The room has an original granite inglenook fireplace with wood burner and the chestnut beams have been carefully restored and retained.
DINING ROOM
The dining room opens out from the kitchen. It has table, six chairs and a large oak dresser with mirror above. A high chair is available for smaller visitors. Everything is provided for a relaxing self-catering holiday.
KITCHEN
Les Lauriers has a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with all modern conveniences. Including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, modern cooker and ample storage. Kitchen and table linen are provided.
BEDROOMS
Both bedrooms offer a splendid view over the local countryside. The double room has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, basketwork chairs and storage for clothing. The imposing oak rafters are a feature that reminds us of the age of the property.
The twin room has matching twin beds. Oak rafters are also a feature of this bedroom. Clothes storage and a chair is also available. A cot for a baby can be placed in either room as required.
BATHROOM AND CLOAKROOM
The stylish contemporary shower room offers a thermostatic power shower, inset basin and vanity unit and WC. There is a convenient downstairs cloakroom with WC basin and coat hanging facilities. Towels are provided for the convenience of guests.
ENTERTAINMENT
English satellite TV, DVD player and free WiFi connection are provided. the property has a selection of indoor and outdoor games. There is a barbecue that guests are welcome to use.
GARDEN AND OUTSIDE
There is a large south facing sunny garden mainly laid to lawn where children are free to play. The garden is supplied with garden furniture and a barbecue for alfresco dining on those balmy summer evenings. Guests are welcome to make use of the extensive woodland garden attached to the owner's property.
PARKING
The cottage has its own parking and entrance. Several cars can easily be accommodated if required.
HEATING
The cottage has gas central heating. If this is required by guests an additional charge of 10 euros per day is requested on-site. Wood for the log burner can be purchased from the owners.
