At the end of your day, fire up the grill or find a great place to eat out. Whether fancy or casual is your style, you'll find some of the best restaurants within a very quick drive. As the sun sets, fire up the massive outdoor stone fireplace and snuggle up while toasting marshmallows and watching the sun set over the pond. And finally, drift off to peaceful sleep, waking recharged and refreshed to do it all again.
Blackmore Pond is known for being one of the cleanest ponds in Massachusetts. It is well cared for by private association who rigorously tests water to maintain the strictest purity standards for swimmers. You will be assured a quiet experience as motors larger than 4.5 hp are prohibited. The pond is well stocked with large mouth bass for the avid fisherman, and plenty of songbirds and turtles for the casual nature observer.
Wooded walking trails are nearby, great shopping is 5 minutes away at Wareham Crossing, or go-carts, mini-golf and Water Wizz within a fifteen minute drive. Cape Cod Canal is just 20 minutes away, and all that Cape Cod has to offer just beyond that. Do it all, or do nothing. It's your choice!

The tiled bathroom features a large shower (towels provided). One queen size bed with fresh linens provided. The cottage is heated and air conditioned and has 2 ceiling fans.
Outside amenities include an amazing outdoor stone fireplace, two kayaks and a sandy beach area with lounge chairs.
