With an absolutely stunning view over open fields, this gem of a thatched half-timbered cottage is on 2 levels. The house is originally from 1835 but has undergone a major, gentle renovation in 2011 and has retained all its charm and idyll that is not seen in many other such houses. The cottage consists on the ground floor of an entrance hall / utility room, where there is access to a large double bedroom. From the utility room there is also access to the kitchen, which oozes cosiness. From the kitchen you move into the living room, which simply has to be experienced. The ceiling consists of visible beams with a ceiling height of approx. 1.85 m, barred farmhouse windows and plank floors, and the very decor of the living room has been tastefully tried to retain for that type of houses. From the living room there is direct access to the independent TV room. The house's bathroom is also difficult to describe, but just needs to be experienced. From the living room there are stairs to the 1st floor, which consists of two very large bedrooms, which are located at each end of the 1st floor. The rooms are each with a double bed, and in the master bedroom there is direct access to a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and the open fields. A perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The two rooms are separated by another living room. The reason includes i.a. a nice terrace where the grill can be lit and you can enjoy the silence and not least the sun. There is also a cozy fireplace, and if you need to relax, the large hammock can certainly be an option. Not for rent to youth groups.
