The area is perfect for bird watching and for getting back to nature with walks and cycle routes nearby. Seaview has a number of beaches and coves with views back to the mainland across the Solent. Ryde has a popular seafront with extensive sandy beaches and a golf course only a couple of miles away. Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK and The Needles, with chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and the coloured sands of Alum Bay, are just a short drive. .
