Dawn Repoli is WINiT Executive Director & COO, responsible for the coordination and facilitation of the ten committees and over 200 volunteers in the WINiT organization. In collaboration with these committees and volunteers, Dawn is responsible for the strategic management of all programs and initiatives toward direct alignment with the WINiT mission. She manages the WINiT vendor relationships and contract negotiations, and in partnership with the Board of Directors and corporate accountant, oversees all financial activities and statements.
Furthermore, she is responsible for the implementation and development of the programs that represent the key pillars of WINiT services to our membership: the WINiT Mentor Program, WINiT Classroom, WINiT Communities, WINiTU, WINiT Speaks and WINiT Library.
Dawn is a certified grant writer and an experienced fund raising event coordinator, with extensive experience working with 501c(3) non-profit start-up organizations. As a former small business owner, her experiences range from preparing a business plan and securing financing, to the implementation of expansion tactics. She has procured federal, state and local licenses and permits and has collaborated with several committees and executive boards modifying by-law structure and computer program development.
Laura Richey is an experienced Marketing and Communications professional and a proud member of the WINiT team. She is a strategic thinker with a solid history of building brands, driving brand awareness, and impacting mindshare to exceed industry standards and organizational goals.
Laura began her career at Accenture where she held several marketing and communications roles supporting their Human Performance service line and served as a brand champion through the global company’s rebranding initiative. She also worked for NAVTEQ where she was a key player on a global team that built the NAVTEQ brand in 80+ countries and helped support NAVTEQ’s growth through the 2004 IPO and the $8.1 Billion acquisition by Nokia.
While much of her career was spent delivering strategic marketing and communications programs for large global organizations, she is now thrilled to be applying her skills to help impact the careers and lives of women in the travel, meeting, event and exhibition industries.
Susan Wyslick is the WINiT Administrative Assistant and is responsible for managing meetings for the WINiT Staff, vendors and our 100+ volunteers in remote locations around the world, including the online WINiT staffing calendar of events. Sue serves as the central coordinator to collect information and provide historical reference through the development of a central filing and retrieval system, maintaining department database records, and serving as a liaison among WINiT Leadership. Sue contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results that are essential to run the WINiT operation smoothly.
Sue is a 1988 graduate of Bryant University with a degree in Marketing. For many years, she was the Customer Seminar Coordinator for Gerber Scientific Products located in Manchester, CT. In that role, she planned, scheduled, implemented and presented seminars nationally for the company’s customers. Sue was promoted to Exhibit Manager and became responsible for the trade show program at Gerber, managing 10 – 50 employees onsite.
